Pear and chocolate smoothie

A creamy, sweet smoothie with the addition of seasonal pears, cashew nuts and chocolate Rice Dream make this a wonderful nutritious smoothie - perfect as a snack or speedy breakfast option.


450ml/16floz Rice Dream Chocolate flavour
60g/2oz cashew nuts
2 ripe pears, cores removed, peeled
2 tsp ground flaxseed


  1. Place the Rice Dream in a blender and add the cashew nuts.
  2. Process to form a thick shake.
  3. Add the pears and flaxseed and process again until smooth and creamy.
  4. Best served immediately but will keep in the fridge for up to 1 day.
